WELCOME! YOU’VE STUMBLED UPON MY MOVIE + TRAVEL BLOG

As an architect obsessed with movies, I’ve spent years trekking out to interesting buildings and unique filming locations. And if that also interests you, then welcome! I’m so glad like minded travelers have found this page!

Even though I started this blog in 2019, I have been traveling much longer than that. I have been lucky enough to live on three different continents and have explored over a dozen countries. I am currently living back in my hometown of Toronto, Canada.

WHY FILMTRIPPING ? The FilmTripper was created as a way to help people become fully immersed into the worlds they love! ! Whether that world is Gossip Girl’s Upper East Side or Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley. Real or fictional, if it's on a map you can FilmTrip there! You’d be surprised just how many movies you love are filmed at ordinary places that you can visit. So while traveling, why not try and find some of these extra special locations and relive your favorite movie moments.

Even theme parks present a unique opportunity to experience the most fantastical movie places. I mean, where else can you ride a banshee through the Hallelujah Mountains of Pandora or drink a butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks?
